Dr. Mohsen Mardani Kivi began studying medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran in 1369, at the age of 16. After completing his professional doctorate (general medicine), he immediately took the specialized residency examination and was accepted into the orthopedic surgery program at Kerman University of Medical Sciences, completing his studies in this field in 1383. In the same year, he ranked first nationwide in the specialized Pre-Board examination and third nationwide in the specialized Board examination... From 1383 to 1386, alongside his professional activities, he also taught at Ardabil University of Medical Sciences. From 1386 to 1394, he worked as a full-time geographical assistant professor; in 1394, he was promoted to associate professor, and he currently serves as an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics at Guilan University of Medical Sciences. Since 1388, Dr. Mardani has completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of knee and shoulder arthroscopy and sports injuries at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. However, he did not stop there and participated in numerous domestic and international professional and advanced workshops and courses. He is a member of the Iranian Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Iranian Association of Knee Surgeons and Sports Medicine, and the Iranian Shoulder Surgeons Association. He has also served as head of the orthopedic department at Pour Sina Hospital in Rasht since 1390.
