I am Amir Daryani. I was born in Tabriz. After receiving my diploma in experimental sciences from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents in Tabriz in 1998, I entered Tabriz University of Medical Sciences as a general medicine student and graduated from this university in 2005 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. After completing my general medicine education in 2005, I began my mandatory military service. After completing my military service in 2007, I was accepted as a general surgery resident at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. During my studies, due to my interest in research, I was selected as the university's top researcher after publishing ten articles in reputable journals. Finally, in 2011, after passing the specialty board examination, I graduated from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences as a general surgeon. After completing my general surgery training, I served for 18 months in the underserved area of Kaleybar, coinciding with the devastating Varzaghan earthquake.
In 2013, after being accepted by Sapienza University of Rome to participate in a fellowship in microsurgical breast reconstruction and oncoplastic surgery, I went to Italy. After returning to Iran, I worked for one year in the surgery department of Imam Khomeini Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, providing treatment and education.
After one year of specialized work in breast oncoplastic surgery, I entered the plastic surgery fellowship program at Shahid Beheshti University.
For me, an interest in research and presenting new solutions was a strong motivation for pursuing academic advancement. Considering the new ideas I have and the new research projects I am currently working on, I hope to be useful to the people of Iran.
