When should you take seeking care more seriously?
A symptom by itself is not a sign of cancer, but persistent or severe symptoms should be followed up.
- Unusual bleeding or bruising — Discuss unexplained bleeding, frequent bruising, or prolonged bleeding with a doctor sooner.
- Severe weakness or fatigue — Persistent fatigue, paleness, or shortness of breath with reduced functioning may require evaluation for anemia and its cause.
- Severe and sudden symptoms — Severe bleeding, severe shortness of breath, reduced consciousness, or severe pain requires immediate action; call 115.
