When should you take seeking care more seriously?
Some symptoms need faster evaluation and should not be attributed to a cause based only on personal assumptions.
- Sudden hearing loss or severe dizziness — Seek immediate medical evaluation. If it is accompanied by reduced consciousness, sudden weakness, speech difficulty, or emergency symptoms, call 115.
- Shortness of breath or severe difficulty swallowing — This situation requires emergency care, especially if accompanied by swelling, bruising, or rapid worsening; call 115.
- Persistent hoarseness or sore throat — If symptoms do not resolve or are accompanied by pain, difficulty swallowing, or a neck lump, arrange a visit.
